Backloggery Banner

Yayy~ Look what I made for my backlog! It took me like five hours to make... And it was kind of worth it... XD Now my backloggery is pretty! I've never actually posted about my backloggery before, so might as well now! it's what I use to track my games... As to how much I've beaten and stuff. It's really useful actually, and gives you more motivation to actually play and beat your games. :D

You can click the banner to get there. Besides, if you want to see the full size, you have to click it anyway. :3

Anywho, the banner has Chroche Latel Pastalie from Ar tonelico: Sekai ni Hibiku Shoujo-tachi no Metafalica (Duh), Estellise Sidos Heurassein from Tales of Vesperia, Viese Blanchimont from Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny, Mercedes from Odin Sphere, Amagi Yukiko from Persona 4, Micaiah from Fire Emblem, and Flonne from the Disgaea Series! Of course, there is tha Ralts evolution line on top of the text, but they were mostly accessories for my screen name. XD

Hope you guys like it...

Random Photoshops

Jakuri

Jakuri

Ulrika Myberg

Ulrika Myberg

Photobucket

Shurelia
Okay, I guess they're not TOO random... But these are the photoshops I worked on this week (and last, sorta).

Guess I feel like showing them off because the topics on various forums that I used to post them on failed... So yeah. :D

Oh yeah... And for some reason, I've been using the Harrington font on everything... Maybe because it's not too fancy, or not too normal. Plus it's very Talesy if you want it to be. /ok

These characters are... Jakuri from Ar tonelico II: Sekai ni Hibiku Shoujo-tachi no Metafalica, Ulrika Myberg from Mana-Khemia 2: Ochita Gakuen to Renkinjutsushi-tachi, and Shurelia-sama from Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia/Sekai no Owari de Utai Tsuzukeru Shoujo and Cross Edge(Which is where the avatar art came from).

I relatively like all of them in terms of design and personality, despite not knowing too much about Ulrika... But I've heard enough about them to like them. :3

Web banner made by Meleiyu/Bunnywisk. Her banners/sigs/avys are awesome. :P

Unfortunately, it got cut off so you can't see the whole thing... Stinky width limit. >__<

I know I've made several posts about this before, but I'm here to day to spread the message of the community for Tales fans from all over~ It's a great community, so at least check it out yeah? :D

Also, new link for Tales of Vesperia~ I'm reposting the old ones too. ;P

Tales of Rar's Fandoms; Tri-Ace

Yes, I know. *gasp* It's midnight and I'm not playing Vesperia! In fact... I haven't played since... like 4 PM! Okay, I know... That's STILL not very impressive... But hey, I got a new game~ Which I still haven't even put into the system... But, I'll probably play it eventually. Or hopefully...

Anywho, that game is Infinite Undiscovery developed by Tri-Ace and published by Squeenix. Anywho, as very few people know... Or if I'm wrong and a lot do... Tri-Ace was originally the Tales of Phantasia team that started what we today know as the Tales series! The top Tri-Ace developers and writers did help out with Tales of Phantasia, but a lot of their stuff got changed by Namco, so they got mad and left after Phantasia was published and made a contract with Squaresoft. Thus they created their company, as well as the Star Ocean series that many people know and love today. Myself not included yet. Apparently, the original Star Ocean had many similar gameplay mechanics and stuff to Tales of Phantasia... Which is why I kind of think it's worth checking their games out.

Most people know their games, and they are pretty popular from what I've seen. Their most prominent series is Star Ocean, which most of you probably have heard of... Technically, Star Ocean is the sister series to Tales. Although it seems to be more Sci-Fi based than Fantasy. I only own one of the titles though, and that is the third one. Star Ocean: Til the End of Time. Thankfully, the English version didn't come out until the Japanese version got fixed... Apparently the original Star Ocean 3 was dreadful somehow... Though I'll never be certain! But yeah, we got the Director's Cut... Which included additional features that were added in from the original Star Ocean 3.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the heart to play it too much yet... Only thirty minutes in so far. I'll get to it eventually though! Mark my words! I will beat every RPG I currently have! No exceptions! Unfortunately I'm really slow though... So that probably will take a while, considering how slow I was with Vesperia. Okay, I wasn't really slow, as I beat it in a little more than a week, and it usually takes me much longer to do that. Considering that Vesperia was considered to be around 40-60 hours long without sidequests... Me taking an extra 40+ hours to beat it with sidequests means that I AM slow. XD

Anywho! Back to Infinite Undiscovery... I heard different things about it in different boards. The one thing I heard that stuck to my mind was... "If you played Tales of Vesperia first, Infinite Undiscovery will feel very weak because Tales of Vesperia beats it in almost every aspect." Okay, that wasn't really a quote from anywhere, but it's pretty much summing up one of those topics made on GameFAQs... Of course, after seeing that, I got it anyway, because I know that I can't judge anything unless I play it myself. I learned that through Ar tonelico...

One of my secrets is that at first, I wasn't a very big fan of it... I played through the intro of it, and thought it wasn't as good as the Atelier Iris series. Of course, I only played through like... the first 30 minutes. Mind you this was like 2 years ago, so I don't think I was thinking quite like I do now. I grew a lot in the past year because of my first year in college...

But anywho, yeah I judged Ar tonelico at first because it just seemed like it wasn't my style of game... At first, it just felt VERY Sci-Fiey, yes I just made that word up. Of course, the beginning definitely WOULD feel like a Sci-Fi game, I mean Shurelia-sama looked like an android (and she technically really IS one, considering Reyvateils are artificial beings, although Reyvateils are a lot closer to humans than robots)... The Tower was VERY mechanical, and Lyner ended up flying a spaceship to the bottom of the tower... So yeah, very Sci-Fi so far. Also, viruses = more Sci-Fi. Anywho, since I was probably distracted by some other game, I stopped playing from after Lyner landed next to that village in the forest, both names which escape me... (feels ashamed to call himself an Ar tonelico fan now.) And I didn't touch the game until the fall of 2007. Yes, last year. Surprisingly, I wasn't such a big fan of Ar tonelico a year ago... If someone had mentioned the name "Chroche" to me last year, I would have no idea what they were saying. Of course, I did start playing it slightly before the release of Ar tonelico II in Japan... I know I beat Ar tonelico the first time in December of 2007 for sure. So yeah, my fandom for Ar tonelico steadily and rapidly grew as I played it. And here I am, today, a huge Ar tonelico fan, with my favorite character EVER being Chroche Latel Pastalie of Ar tonelico II: Sekai ni Hikibu Shoujo-tachi no Metafalica fame. XD Wow, things sure can change fast...

...

Like this post... Gah! I am RAMBLING! Goddess Martel, I keep getting off topic of what I was originally meant to post! Anywho, Infinite Undiscovery. I got it. The most interesting thing I noticed about it first... Was the heroine's name. Aya. Yes, that's right, her name is Aya. I INSTANTLY thought of my Tales-fanatic friend AyameMajikku. It doesn't really help that she's an archer either, because Aya-chin LOVES Chester. Who is, obviously from Tales of Phantasia and is the Archer of the group... Anywho, I found this hilarious and felt that I needed to tell her right away... Which I did. Just because of the heroine being an archer named Aya made me want to play Infinite Undiscovery a bit more. XD

Hopefully I can enjoy Infinite Undiscovery despite my great love and bias towards the Tales series now. I was looking quite forward to it, despite it coming out a week after the amazingly awesome Tales of Vesperia. I thought it was very pretty the first time I've heard of it! I didn't even know it would come out so close to Vesperia's release... Considering I was already a huge Tales fan, and that my fandom for Tales and Gust RPGs have greatly overshadowed that of Squeenix's RPGs (although I shouldn't group Final Fantasy and Tri-Ace's games together, because they are developed by different teams) Infinite Undiscovery coming out AFTER Vesperia, really hurt it's chances of me playing it sooner. I'll play it eventually though, I know it. Possibly sometime this week! I still have just about two weeks before school starts after all! XD

I honestly don't know how I got into so many different fandoms... I know I said Chroche-sama is my favorite character of all time. But Nefertari Vivi from One Piece isn't forgotten yet! I'm still a uber fan of her despite my current... lack of Viviness anywhere. Or One Pieceness for that matter. o.o

Oh yeah, and I made a new banner for Connie-sama! I made her an Avatar too, she seems to like them. Check them out at her blog okay? XD

Anywho, I think that's enough rambling for now, because I've gone on wayyy too long enough, considering I was supposed to be mostly talking about Infinute Undiscovery rather than my fandom for everything... /swt

Chroche is Pastalia Love <3

So, last night I was on the Official Tales Forum, and I found the topic where everyone was getting their lovebars from! I thought they were great! So I decided to compliment Valor, the lovebar-maker on her good work!

Of course... I added in that I would make a request myself, but the one I wanted was of a non-Tales character(sorry Tales!) and that I didn't want to trouble her, so I wouldn't bother. Then she QUICKLY responded(despite it being around 1 AM where I am) and said she wouldn't mind making one for me at all! So I submitted some pictures to her, and soon after went to bed.

When I woke up this morning, I was surprised to see the lovebar ALREADY made, and there being an extra Avatar in the mix! That made my mood shoot up quite quickly! Despite waking up early than I usually would like to, so right now. I'm in a VERY cheerful mood! THANK YOU SO MUCH VALOR! I LOVES IT! <3

Chroche Lovebar by Valor

Not too many responses on my previous blog on the Tales Brigade though... So I'm kind of disappointed about that. Guess no one wants to help me choose characters for the wallpaper. XD

Tales of Random Stuff

Alright, so in the past week, I've made a couple of wallpapers...

Tales of Heroines

Tales of Heroes

They're of the respective roles for the Tales of Series! People seem to like them on the Tales Brigade site... So I'm guessing they're pretty good... At least, not bad! It's been a while since I attempted a wallpaper. The last one I did attempt was that Zelda and Sheik one I did a while back for DEN... Which he never used. /swt.

Anywho, I've made a LOT of banners and sigs since the last time I posted some... And I know most people won't care for them if I posted them here, but I have whole topics of them in it, and I just realized I should post a link to my photobucket account so people don't have to just look to those forums for them... But yeah. Anywho, I was super chipper a while ago! But someone ruined my mood. At least awesome friend: Ayame-chan is always supportive and chatting with me! So I'm still kind of happy about that. I guess that's all I wanted to post... Oh, I'm planning on making a Tales of the Best Friends wallpaper next! I'm not sure exactly which characters I should use yet, so I'll post the current list. If there are any suggestions at ALL for whatever characters, please help out! :]

Tales of Phantasia: Chester
Tales of Destiny: Woodrow or Leon? I don't know which!
Tales of Eternia: ...Max? Or maybe Keele qualifies for this as well as being the smart one...
Tales of Destiny 2: Uhhh, I don't know enough about this game to know... /swt
Tales of Symphonia: Probably Zelos
Tales of Rebirth: Tytree?
Tales of Legendia: Probably Moses?
Tales of the Abyss: Guy, for sure.
Tales of the Tempest: Uhh, dunno! :D
Tales of Innocence: Spada? o.o
Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World: n/a I think.
Tales of Vesperia: Repede! XD
Tales of Hearts: Unknown, as of yet... I think.

Yup, that's it! Posted directly from my blog on Tales Brigade! Thanks for your possible help! It will be welcome~ Of course, I don't really expect any in the first place... Considering I don't know how many readers I actually get. /swt

Oh, and I'm still working on working to get a new background because white has no "flair" as thunder-kun had said... So, yeah!

Happy Belated Independence Day!

Yes, it is July 5th, but I thought I might as well make a post about the United States' belated birthday. 1776 was the year when America was freed from British rule, and now we're living in a democratic republic that is ruled by the people, sorta. Well, ruled by the people in the fact that they choose their leaders. Anywho, America is officially 232 years old! Yay! My family and I were supposed to go to Vegas for the holiday, but instead we stayed home. However, we did have an uber dinner today that involved a lot of the family, and that's always fun. :D

Anywho, I went to the Anime Expo the day before yesterday, and it was pretty fun! Although mine and everyone else's legs were sore, and feet were in pain, I thought it was worth it because I was able to buy the Ar tonelico II artbook! So I'm happy. I also bought a Kirby plush, which is adorably awesome. :D

I also added three new banners! Yay. Look for them if you are curious. :P

Rotating Banners

Hey peepz! If you haven't noticed, whenever you enter my blog now, the banners change, thanks to my awesome friend Mat. Hope you guys enjoy the new and remade banners! I added an Ar tonelico II and Odin Sphere one today, and the people that visit my blog often, the Colette one a few days ago. Hope you guys like them!

I've recently been addicted to Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions on PSP, and I was playing Metroid Prime again for a while. Oh and I also just got Final Fantasy Tactics A2, so I have tons of games to beat! But FFT is going to be the next one on my list to beat! Hopefully I will, it's great so far. :P Wallpaper depicts Agrias Oaks. She's awesome.

Mana-Khemia

As I wait for my cousin to bring me my copy of Mana-Khemia, I learned out to improve my photoshop sigs and banners quite significantly, which has made me very happy. This has enabled me to create a new somewhat "awesome" banner that is actually not simple and ugly (with the exception of the Shana one). Anywho, I've already changed it, so yeah. Enjoy!

I also made a new Kratos sig for my friend. Good? :o I dunno. People seem to like it. :P

EDIT! Jakuri/Mir sig FTW.

Improvement

Like oh my goddess, I'm getting so much better at photoshop, it's shocking! Check these out and tell me what you guys think. ^___^

Ugh, it doesn't look like they transitioned too well. Oh well, I think if you click on them you can see better images of them. COMMENT PLEASE! Especially you Amanda-yan.

Anticipation

Brawl is less than 36 hours away now, and I am soo uber excited! So my banner is going to be Brawl themed again. This is a fun video with a catchy tune that is spreading like wildfire in the Brawl community, so I hope you enjoy it! :D

Yay banners, this is the old one that I am ever so fond of, but now is the time for a Smash themed one.

And a Meta Knight one I made for my clan. xD
