Resident Evil 5 Impressions

Okay, not really impressions, since I have been watching/playing it for over a week. I have an actual copy of it now though! Collector's Edition, being the swag queen that I am... The bag is fairly amazing, although a bit smaller than I would have liked. Chris figurine is VERY small, and it's not a really good rendition of his RE5 incarnation. His physique is more similar to that of when he had less muscle in RE1. XD

I also got the Laser Cell Art from the Gamestop preorder, and the BSAA badge, as well as the necklace. All very nice. Not sure what I want to do with the badge though. XD

Anywho, the game is fun as heck! Especially with a friend. The Co-Op is AWESOME! More games need co-op nowadays. There haven't been a lot of those since the NES/SNES days. *remembers games like Bubble Bobble and Donkey Kong Country* Co-Op is a big selling point for me, especially for these kinds of games... My friends actually play with me! It's great. We can even go online to find people to play with! So if anyone has RE5... Hit me up if you want to play online! Of course, I can only do that when I'm at home, when I actually have internet on the 360...

Overall, it is a fun game! The gore isn't that bad actually... They don't even show much of the decapitations anymore, unlike RE4. Of course, I am kind of used to it now in RE... I still can't really take gore in movies and stuff though...

The story is fairly interesting so far, although I know all the big spoilers already... =.= Oh well, I'm still enjoying it, and seeing how the heck we got to those spoilers. XD

Video Game Deprived...

Life is taking it's toll and I haven't been able to play anything at all lately... *sadness*

I should have beaten Ar tonelico II weeks ago, but alas... I'm stuck at Sol Marta for the time being. Maybe I'll be able to play sometime this weekend? Who knows...

Anywho, I'm just making a blog to let everyone know I'm alive! Well, it's not like many people read this thing anyway right? XD

I've been addicted to EXEC_with.METHOD_METAFALICA/. lately though, shows how much I miss playing the game I guess...

I preordered Shikata Akiko-sama's Harmonia album as well, despite starting to run low on the moneys, but it was worth it... I think... I'll wait until it comes, I'll probably love it. XD

So Much To Deal With...

Way too much drama within the past week... Glad it's over with. I'm away from the dorms for the weekend, so I suppose it's good to get away for a bit...

Of course, finals are coming up... And those aren't fun at all. Also, I've got a paper to write for my History class that's due next Monday... Rawr.

I've already signed up for my classes next quarter, they include: Japanese 3, Science Words: Greek and Latin Roots, Art History: Western Art: Baroque to Modern, and hopefully my first upper-division class: The Supreme Court and the Constitution.

I'm hoping that next quarter won't be too tough, but I can't be certain about that, considering how lazy I am...

On a different note, I have finally acquired my Atelier Vocal Historia and Tales of the Abyss Image Album! Also, I got my Luca Truelywaath figurine (And still haven't opened it because I'm too afraid to...), Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2, Devil Summoner, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, Street Fighter IV (The Collector's Edition), and will be getting Star Ocean: The Last Hope once I get back to school.

Yes, my backlog is DEFINITELY building up.

Not to mention Resident Evil 5, Pokemon Platinum, Mana-Khemia: Student Alliance, and Devil Summoner 2 coming in within the next few months... Among others.

Gah... I need more money and time. >__<

Meanwhile, Street Fighter IV is definitely a game that brings everyone together. We've been playing it non-stop since I got it... And well, I suck! Having Sakura doesn't help me at all... I was never good at fighting games to begin with I guess. However, it is still a lot of fun at times. although losing does suck, I just need to practice some more I guess.

I'm finally in the Tower of Ar tonelico II... Does that tell you how close I am to the end? D:

1 Hour Before History Final...

Yes, I have one hour before my history final and I really should be looking over my terms. XD

Anywho, I have some good news and bad news! Mostly good though... I think. ZOMG RESIDENT EVIL 5 IS CO-OP! *excited* I never thought I would like Resident Evil until I watched it... It's actually a lot of fun to watch, I really need to try to play Resident Evil 4 before 5 comes out now. Darn you Jonathan for getting me into Resident Evil! Oh well, hopefully this will have me get over my fears of horror movies.

Persona 4 is coming out this week. That is all.

I got my Player's Bibles for Atelier Iris 2 and Ar tonelico II, I'll take pictures of them later~

I MIGHT BE ABLE TO PLAY UNDUB AND IMPORT GAMES AFTER MY WINTER BREAK! Well, for PS2 at least. One of my awesome hallmates might be able to give me the ability to do this, and I'm SOOO excited. Legendia in Japanese? Hells yeah. Persona in Japanese? Awesomeness.

Anywho, bad news. I have just found out that the DSi is going to be region-locked. Really Nintendo? Why would you do this to me? :[
