I'm FINALLY on the last chapter of Mana-Khemia! This game is pure love and joy for me, the characters are awesome and the battle system is uber fun! Philo-chan, Anna, and Pamela are my favorite characters! All of the characters are awesome in their own ways though, they all make me laugh somehow. The game is refreshing in the fact that you're not trying to save the world in it, but rather you just go through the everyday lives of the students within the academy of Al-Revis, doing alchemy and learning of the backstories and personalities of the wonderful main characters. Character events, assignments, and jobs rule this game, but it's fun all the same. The alchemy system is obviously very similar to that of the Atelier Iris series, and the field and battle system is most similar to Atelier Iris 3.Overall, the game is AWESOME! I'm going to have to play through it again to make sure I'm able to watch all the character endings! Good thing there's a New Game+! But it makes you overpowered I think... Oh well, should be nice to go through the game quickly so I can watch all the character events and endings~ The game is more character centric than anything, which is one of the main reasons why I like it! Plus it's from Gust, and Gust = Love.
I can't wait for Mana-Khemia II now. ;P
