Biography:
The princess of Kryta whom was born into the a time of war would later become the great heroine of the world of Tyria. She was born as the second and last daughter of King Menar and Queen Guinevere. Though the ever malicious King was never known without his "indescretions" and had produced another daughter by a priestess from the Temple of the Ages. Queen Guinevere was never seen without her radiant glow. She was ever pure and took care of her two daughters with much love and care, with the assistance of her best friend and royal attendant, Mary.
Elincia's life in the castle was greatly envied by all the young girls and women of Kryta, she had a loving sister that assisted Elincia in her education of learning how to read and write. One of the royal attendants' daughters by the name of Sophia, eventually became Elincia's best friend. They did everything together, and would always help each other in anyway possible. Sophia was one of the only children to be around Elincia's age, so they got along well. Early on in Elincia's life, her parents decided to arrange to have Elincia to be wed to one of the branch family's sons. Known as Prince Reinur, he was Elincia's distant cousin. Elincia, being in the head royal family, and Reinur, often called Rei, being in one of the branch families. Elincia did not like the idea of an arranged marriage at first, but after some time with Reinur, she grew to love him, and agreed with the arranged marriage. Elincia was also assigned a Knight to be her bodyguard, should anyone or anything pose a threat to her, her Knight by the name of Jayson, would protect her in anyway possible.
Elincia grew up in a life of love and luxury, so she was a bit spoiled, but consistently noble. Always on the side of justice, she grew up to love her country and would protect it however she could, which was why she volunteered to undergo training for battle at first as a Warrior. She always wanted to help protect her country in some way, so she thought taking up the sword was the best way. She wanted to be like her mother, who was skilled in swordplay, and used her skills whenever she needed to. However, her mother had the abilities of a Mesmer as well, and used both her skills with a sword and as a Mesmer with great elegance and success.
~Prophecies~
Elincia was sent to Ascalon in the guise of a commoner, to train as a warrior two years before the Searing. She was sent to Ascalon with some companions to see that nothing would happen to her. Prince Reinur was the first one chosen to go along with her. Her royal Knight, Jayson also went along, seeing as the two grew close after many years. Elincia also begged Sophia to come along, and her parents eventually allowed it, and it was there that Sophia learned how to harness the power of the Necromancer. While studying in Ascalon, she had met someone that would soon become another of her closest friends and companions by the name of Emirine. Emirine was a commoner, but she was very holy and pious. She was trained as a Priestess and a monk and came from Nolani, one of the more prestigious cities based around magic in Ascalon.
Elincia went far in her studies of swordplay, but eventually found it unsatisfying and unelegant. She was often called the "Elegant Princess of Kryta" after all. She eventually met Lady Althea, who would later become her teacher and mentor in her studies as a Mesmer. Elincia soon became quite skilled as a Mesmer, and became one of the top ranking Mesmer students in Kryta. She thought it to be in her blood though, as both her father and mother were Mesmers themselves. Her elder sister, Terra also had also wanted to learn the art of the Mesmer, but was unfortunately unable to. She was born inept in magic, and could not harness such abilities that well. So she never was sent to study as a warrior, and just stayed in the castle and helped the royal attendants with their duties.
When the Charr invaded the three kingdoms, and the Searing underway. Elincia fought alongside Sophia, Jayson, Emirine, Reinur, and the Ascalonian people and attempted to throw back the Charr. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite enough and Ascalon eventually became a region of ruin and despair. The beautiful country turned from a green and natural haven, to a red and scorched land of despair. Elincia suffered many losses during this event, including the majority of her family. Messengers from Kryta were sent to Ascalon, with messages saying that the royal family had been annihilated after a Charr invasion of the royal castle, and that there were almost no survivors. Elincia also lost her teacher and mentor during the Searing, as Lady Althea was killed by the Charr as well. Elincia, filled with grief and hatred of the Charr, assisted to fight them off.
After two years of fighting the Charr, Elincia eventually followed Prince Rurik of Ascalon out back to Kryta, to seek refuge for the people of Ascalon. Unfortunately, passing through the Northern Shiverpeaks, Prince Rurik was killed by one of the Stone Summit. With the help of the Deldrimor Dwarves however, Elincia and her companions eventually got past the Northern Shiverpeaks and into Kryta. Within Kryta, she found that the country had been taken over by the mysterious White Mantle. Whom she was grateful to at first, as they had saved Kryta from becoming another Ascalon, however she did mistrust them slightly. As she was helping the White Mantle out, she encountered the Shining Blade, led by the monk, Evennia and the ranger, Saidra. These two opened Elincia's eyes to what the White Mantle were really up to. The White Mantle were finding people that were chosen by the Eye of Janthir which would indicate that they had some sort of magic. However, the White Mantle had taken these chosen to the Bloodstones of the Maguuma Jungle, and sacrificed them to the "Unseen Ones" that they referred to as their gods.
Elincia assisted the Shining Blade in fighting the White Mantle while transversing through the Maguuma Jungle meeting the royal family's personal monk on the way, and eventually came upon Sanctum Cay in southern Kryta, where they found the assistance of Vizier Khilbron who hails from the dead Kingdom of Orr. Elincia found out that one of the Shining Blade's officers, Markis was a traitor and had Evennia and Saidra kidnapped. Vizier Khilbron assisted Elincia and her companions to the Crystal Desert and revealed that they themselves were Chosen as well and were able to go through the Trials to become Ascended to gain the attention and powers of the Five Gods of Tyria. After meeting up with a Necromancer by the name of Norman that fell in love with Sophia, Elincia and her friends went through their Ascension, and ventured to the Southern Shiverpeaks with the help of the dragon prophet, Glint, to finally defeat the White Mantle and the Mursaat, the White Mantle's "Unseen Ones" who were later revealed to not be dieties at all. After defeating the White Mantle in the Southern Shiverpeaks with the assistance of King Jalis Ironhammer, Vizier Khilbron helped Elincia and her friends get to the Ring of Fire Islands to defeat the Mursaat once and to unleash the only weapon that can defeat them.
At the Ring of Fire Islands, Elincia and her party fought through hoardes of Mursaat that were guarding the Door of Komalie and unleashed the Titans, which are the dieties that the Charr worshipped. Elincia and her friends were betrayed by Vizier Khilbron, who was revealed to be the Lich Lord who wanted to use the Titans to take over all of Tyria, which is the World. Elincia and her friends went to Hell's Precipice and defeated the Lich Lord, thus saving all of Tyria from his rule.
After defeating the Lich Lord at the Ring of Fire Islands, Elincia and her friends split up and helped eliminate the Titans that were unleashed upon the continent of Tyria and Elincia would finally be able to rest after a long journey.

Note: Factions happens at the same time of Prophecies, so Vivi's story would be taking place the same time as Elincia's.
A lot of this stuff was taken from the story of the first campaign with lots of help from Guildwiki with whatever I forgot, so I don't really take credit for any part of the Prophecies story, the stuff about Elincia is totally made up by me though, just borrowing from the story and lore such as Kryta and stuff. I've been wanting to write my character profiles for quite a while, since this story is being put together by myself, Connie, and Dennis, with some help from Jayson of course.
