Kimi ga Nozomu Eien

You know, Jasmine is going to really, really hate this post! Well, maybe not. I'm just talking about it, mostly because I finished this anime today. Haha, I don't know if I really like this anime much, I just know I really do not like Takayuki, playing with two girls' hearts like that! Even one that got hit by a car because he was late for her. Horrible really, the whole anime is pretty depressing and dramatic. I can understand why Jasmine hates it so much. The whole anime is filled with romance and sex! Though the sex scenes aren't explicit at all, well maybe one but they don't show too much. Anywho, the only two characters I really do like, are probably the two Suzumiya sisters, Haruka and Akane. Haruka mostly because she's the only one that doesn't do anything wrong, and Akane because she seems like the only one who really cares about Haruka. You've got to admit the art is beautiful though! However, you won't see me getting the game just for the art... I don't think I'd be interested in eroge. >__>

This anime is about betrayal a bit though! Okay, not a bit... Almost all of it is, and the guilt about their relationships and what they do. Friends and relationships crap, bad choices and whatnot. Translated, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien means "The Eternity You Desire" how that fits about the story, I'm not so sure. Maybe it's because they all wish they could go back to the way things were before Haruka's accident. Of course, since this was based off a video game with many different paths to it, the anime had to follow it's own path! Though it kind of went with Mitsuki's, it did combine the other paths according to Wiki. I know, I have no life if I look up anime and read about them on Wiki, but I'm bored! So don't blame me too much.

Overall, I'm not sure what I thought about this anime. I honestly can't say I hate it like Jasmine does, there are some things about it that makes me interested... Although, it's not great to me like Haruhi or Lucky Star was. The plot is very romance driven, not into that too much. There is a lot of character development though, but I don't know if it's good development or not. Jasmine was right about the characters making idiotic choices a lot though. Takayuki got on my nerves because he chose Mitsuki over Haruka, even though they made a promise and that went down the drain because of the accident. Mitsuki was a bit greedy with her needs as well, but I can sympathize with her somewhat, she just loves Takayuki, though I found myself asking often, what do these girls see in Takayuki that make them like him so much? *shrug* Oh well. I should delete the anime out of my computer though, doubt I will ever watch it again... Oh, and I still think Haruka looks like Sakura. Though that changes in the three years after her accident, so she has long hair instead of really short hair. Gotta give credit to the seiyuu though, they did a good job of depicting the characters.
