Tired... and Sharing Amazing FanArt! :o

I got back from Orientation a while ago, and I feel exhausted. Mostly because that was the most walking I have done this year. Haha, also, I feel very deprived. I haven't played video games for two whole days. It's so awful, I know. Horrible even! Orientation was interesting though, met a lot of good people, hopefully, I'll be able to talk to them more once school starts. Haha, as I blog, I am searching for them on Facebook, I know, I'm a freak. :\ Some of them found me already though, haha. It's too bad UCR is almost an hour drive from here, makes me feel nervous about bumping into traffic when coming back on the weekends. Haha. I don't sound very tired, I know, but I am! I really should get into bed earlier than usual, but I really don't want to for some reason. I might eventually, so whatever.

I feel like posting up Fanart for some reason, of Mercedes specifically, but I'm going to post some official art as well. I'm really amazed with the quality of work that was put into these, they're really awesome, they look like they're the real thing! I wish I could draw and color like that. It's so amazing. I don't really have anyone to credit at all, mostly because I got these off a post on GameFAQs on the Odin Sphere Message Board, which is pretty awesome. They had great Gwendolyn art too, and one good Velvet one, but I thought it was a bit much for me. Haha. But man, these artists give a LOT of props to Mercedes, their art is so beautiful that it makes Mercedes just look freakin awesome. I know, I tried to sound like a good art critic, but failed. I need to expand my vocabulary a bit more. Lol. Anywho, the first one I posted was official art, on the cover of the box art with the cluster of the main characters and key players in the plot of Odin Sphere. I was looking for a chance to post these arts up anyway, I'm so impressed with them, and I just wanted to share them with people. Haha. Some fans do depict their favorite characters more "oh my god she's effing hot!" than I think should be, but oh well. I'll deal with it, the art is still beautiful though, haha. There are some strange people out there that get turned on by such artworks, thankfully, I'm not really one of them, so woo-hoo me. Anywho, I think this one is really good, though the legs are much more showy than I would like, it's still awesome. It looks almost like the real thing, I really wish I could draw like that. Haha, man. If I could draw like that, I would be posting my drawings up like crazy, but, unfortunately, this is not the case. I'm usually too busy playing games and admiring the art in it, rather than creating my own, which leads to me having a weak ability in drawing such art, as much as I would love to create and draw my own characters. I wouldn't know how to color them like that anyway, I probably would just screw them up more. Haha, maybe I can get some training somewhere or something. *shrug* who knows.

This one is my favorite, it just looks so freakin awesome, there are no words to describe how beautiful this one is. Haha, I am GREATLY impressed with the amount of detail and color in this gorgeous artwork of Mercedes. It's just plain awesome, if I could do something like this, I would be very very very proud of myself. Who ever did this art, I'm giving a lot of props to. Haha, it's great! I'm just totally impressed with it. I will never ever be able to match such a scale of artistic ability. :D

This one is by my friend! I asked her if she wanted to try drawing it, and she thought it would be fun. Haha, I'm VERY impressed with it! If only someone could help me make it look prettier by coloring it on Photoshop or something. Oh well if that never happens. it's still very good. Haha, if I could color it myself, I would, but I don't have any materials or anything. Thanks Twinkles! Haha, she's my good friend's niece/cousin/whatever they are to each other, and she's VERY good at drawing. I remember all those drawings of Naruto and stuff she drew on my friend's insert, it was so awesome. I was impressed, which is why I was wondering how well she could draw Mercedes, my favorite character from Odin Sphere. As you can tell, even though I've finished Odin Sphere, I'm still into it, haha even though I haven't played it since I beat the game, I still love the game. I'm hoping they come up with a sequel, or "spiritual successor" of sorts! Like Odin Sphere was to Princess Crown. I wish I could play Princess Crown somehow, but I'm not sure if I ever will be able to. Hopefully I'll be able to take Japanese in UCR, Haha, I'm greatly looking forward to that so I can start importing games and not caring if I can't understand it or not anymore. :P
