Guess what?!

*WARNING: POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR TALES OF LEGENDIA*
I'm bored again, whoop-de-doo. I wasn't supposed to post a second time for the first day of this blog's life but I'm so bored that I feel like it! Well, the next game I'm striving to beat once and for all is Tales of Legendia. It's been at least one (or was it two?) year since I started it, and now, I must finish it! I'm at the very last part of the game, well not really. There are still a couple dungeons I have to go through. .__. All of that is back tracking too, which is tedious as I already went through the dungeons before. I love Tales of Legendia's story and characters, but at this point the game is kind of tiresome to play. I really do want to find out Grune's origins and why she's there, but going though the uber long Wings of Light again makes me cringe. No offense to the game itself, I just thought that I would have continued to play and actually beat it IF they added the voices in the second half of the game. The voices in the character quests would have probably made me much more excited to go through the game, as they make the game much more dynamic and such, especially since the scenes were voiced in the entire first half of the game which makes me think that the second half is completely bogus, even though they are REALLY important to the story of the characters. Lazy translators. I envy the Japanese, they get everything completely voiced, even the skits in Tales of the Abyss which are completely unvoiced in the English version. Watching the videos on Youtube makes me sad. That's why, I must learn Japanese! How to read and write it so I can actually import games with all the features on them rather than get a crappy localized version. Besides usually the Japanese voices are better anyway. Call me a Japanophile, I don't care. I've been mad about the un-voiced second half of the game since I got there. I wouldn't have minded waiting longer for a better quality game.

Anywho, enough of the negativity towards the game, on to the positive aspects! Although the battle system and the world map and dungeon walking is far inferior to games like Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Symphonia, I still enjoy the game. The first half of the game made me laugh so much, with Norma's antics of nicknaming people and Jay and Moses always arguing. Although most people absolutely despise Shirley, she actually grew on me, I like her. Although I like Fenimore wayyyy more than her. *sob* Poor Fenimore, she didn't deserve to die! *sob* I'm really sad, Fenimore is so obscure that I can't find even one image of her! *sob* If someone can find me one, thanks a bunch! Haha, although I have no idea why I'm asking on my blog as NOBODY will read it. The closest images to Fenimore I could find is one of Stella, who looks very similar to her, but Stella appears in a cinematic and Feminore doesn't, so it's obviously Stella. By the way, I got these two images from rpgamer.com. That site is uber awesome for RPG images and information, though I don't look there for information. Lol. For some reason, when I got Shirley at the second part of the game, I started using her instead of Chloe, I don't know why, but I enjoy using Shirley more. Haha, she's so close to getting Tidal Wave, but I'm so lazy to fight, as the dungeons are long enough already without having to. I get really attached to characters in the game sometimes. When Fenimore died, I literally cried. I know, I'm a guy, forgive me for having emotions. :P But that doesn't mean I'm emo! *glances at Vivian* I don't know what is up with me for favoring a lot of female leads, although most of them aren't necessarily my most favorite character in the games, they come darn close! Colette, Shirley, Tear, Zelda, Iris, Peach, Lita, the list goes on! I'm just wierd I guess. :P

Bleh, I have to wait at least 7 more days to get my DS Lite back. Can you believe the hinges cracked after I closed it after playing Mario Kart DS last Monday? I was like Noooo~ Why? *sob* Anywho, I dropped it off at a UPS Store yesterday and sent it to Nintendo to be repaired, I hope it makes it there without much of a hassle, and I hope it gets back to me safely. I would be heartbroken if something happened to it. Anywho, has anyone seen the latest RPGs to hit the PSP? It's making it very tempting to buy one... Riviera: The Promised Land, a game that I wanted since it was on the GBA, now remade with full voices, Atlus was even kind enough to keep the Japanese voice tracks in there! I want it! But I don't have a PSP. Also, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology, yup the Tales series again. Haha, that game looks so fun, it has Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Eternia, and Tales of the Abyss characters. It even has Tales of Rebirth and Tales of Destiny 1 & 2, some of which weren't even released here. Bleh, I'm very reluctant to get a PSP, I don't want to spend so much money, but looking at the upcoming releases, as well as past ones like Tales of Eternia, makes me want one! I envy the Japanese though, they get a remade Tales of Phantasia for PSP, as well as Tales of Destiny 2. Both of which will not get released here anytime soon. -__- Darn, I just keep going on about stuff, I should stop. Well, until next time. *waves*
